Here we'll discuss our personal experiences with Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG), hopefully finding camaraderie with each other in the process. HG is not your "normal" morning sickness, HG can last up to the entire length of the pregnancy, sometimes only subsiding at the point of labor, and can cause lasting effects for some women. While the full cause for HG is still unknown, it is understood to be caused by an increase of the HCG hormones which allows a women to maintain her pregnancy in the first place. 
Hello, I'm Amanda and I myself have survived HG through my first 2 pregnancies, each leaving me severely malnourished afterwards with months (non-consecutive) spent in the hospital. While currently on my 3rd pregnancy I want to share my experiences with other Mothers-to-be also suffering with HG as well as past survivors  and hear your stories in return. Hopefully we can all find solace with each other during our hard times finding hope and positivity in the sessions.
