What are partner communities?
ShareWell teams up with national nonprofit organizations to host their peer support communities on ShareWell. Each partner community is run by the partner organization and has its own Groups, facilitators, and meeting guidelines. Partners shape their communities around how their organization works: some create one community per topic, others one per chapter or region.
Do I need to be connected to the organization to join?
No. Any ShareWell member can join a partner community. They are open to everyone looking for support in the topics the organization serves.
How do I join a partner community?
Open a community from the Partners page, or from its organization's page. You can join the community directly, or register for any of its Groups, which adds you to the community too.
Do Groups in partner communities cost anything?
No. Groups inside partner communities are free to join and don't count toward any ShareWell plan limits. All you need is a ShareWell account.
Who leads the Groups?
Every Group in a partner community is led by a trained facilitator and follows the partner organization's own meeting format. You can learn more about each organization and how its meetings run on its partner page.
How is this different from the rest of ShareWell?
Everything else on ShareWell works like it always has. Partner communities are an addition, and one ShareWell account works across all of it.
Will there be more partner communities?
Yes. More nonprofit partners are joining, and their communities will appear here as they launch.
