My name is Ellen, I am a visual artist and an advocate for mental health and keeping up with self care. I deal with depression, anxiety and ADHD. Hoping to become inspired again soon to create art on a regular basis. I need the muse to visit me! Lately I had been mostly focused on finding an amazing job...because for the love of everything..... I am unemployed *again* and trying not to let this hit my self esteem like a 20 car pileup.

What I Hope to Share
I am a very empathetic person and like to think that I am a safe space to share experiences & hold space with. It is so imperative in this day and age to have people to chat and connect with! I have used mindfulness practices in the past and am striving to reconnect to that these days. I actually learned about mindfulness within a group therapy during my college years. Right now I want to learn more about emotional regulation and building boundaries.

It has been years since I actually signed up initially, but I know it included connection with others and mental health!
