I'm still working on telling my story. The short of it is that you name it, I've probably experienced it, including watching a plane crash in my front yard when I was 7. By 18, I ran away from home and moved in with the man who would be my husband. For 20 years, we lived, loved, and fought our way (with each other and the world) through life together. We had four children together, three are living. We said good bye to our second son two hours after his birth. Ten years and a few months later, I said good-bye to the love of my life after we were struck by an oncoming vehicle in our lane. Now, I'm still homeschooling our kids. I was insane (and possibly stupid) and move to my parents homestead. Oh, there's that, too. My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer in 2021, and then bought a 40 acre homestead. The kids and I are currently living in a 500 square foot tiny house on the homestead, along with our three dogs, and three cats. We have four goats, eight chickens, some guineas, and four Heilan coos (aka Highland cows).
