Hello all you good souls. It is so good to be part of a community of people helping one another. I am Tibetan meditation healer and teacher. I run a nonprofit to help people with chronic pain, illness and disability called Healing Buddha Hermitage. I am a retired scientist but after a car accident left me with chronic pain and disability, I studied and trained with Tibetan healing Lamas to help me recover. The Healing Buddha Hermitage was started to help others have access to these Tibetan healing practices.

Visualization, sound healing, meditation, healing hands, mantra, gentle mudra yoga, chanting, breath work and more are some of the things we will do. Each session will have a different practice from an Eastern medicine tradition that will be done as a group, guided by the host. There will be plenty of time afterwards to share experiences of the practice. Eastern medicine traditions are holistic including aspects of body, mind and spirit. As well these traditions focus on achieving balance (e.g. Yin-Yang balance). At times sessions will incorporate a discussion on a topic related to one of these Eastern medicine principles. We will explore how we can incorporate an aspect of the principle into our daily lives. It will helpful to have a notebook or something to write on. A typical session will have the following sequence: • Introduction of host • Round table check in (optional) – your name, how you’re doing, your experience, if any, with Eastern practices • Short reflection – self compassion & compassion for others • Guided practice – visualization, healing hands or other • Sharing (optional) your experience • Dedicating merit of our practice together for all

About
Providing Support For
What I Hope to Share
I am here to non-judgmentally bear witness to whatever challenges others are going through and I am here to meet others that will do the same for me.
What Brought Me to ShareWell
I have been involved in healing circles for 12 years and have found them a very powerful aid on the healing journey. Sharewell is an easy, open way to reach out to others who also see benefit in group and peer support on their healing journey.
