Hello! My name is Laura, I am on a mission of growth, self-discovery, self-love, prosperous evolution, and forward momentum. I lost my adult son to addiction and possibly suicide in April 2022, 17 days before his 30th birthday. My 22 year marriage finished falling apart over the next year, at which point I found that I had spent 22 years with a narcissist and someone I didn't even actually know. 3 years later, I have learned and recognized a lot about myself, life and humanity. I look forward to connecting with like-minded people on thier own journey of self reflection, self discovery and self love.
What I Hope to Share
I hope to gain connection, tools, resources, and partners in growth and success. I hope to contribute to the growth and support of others through my own experience, growth, and personal progress.
What Brought Me to ShareWell
Connection, validation, a safe place to talk, be heard, be understood and be seen brought me to ShareWell - I found limited (actually zero...) in-person support groups for recovery from narcisisstic, toxic relationships or people who actually understand grief and loss of an addict in my area, my search led me to ShareWell. Interestingly, because of the lack of support groups locally, I was also trying to figure out how to facilitate a local support group as a peer and it would appear that I may have also found a platform for this possability.
