(She/her)

For many years, I believed I would need my eating disorder to stay in control of my life. I know what it's like to feel trapped by anxiety, overwhelmed by mental health challenges, and unsure if recovery is really possible. I also understand the unique challenges of living with a chronic illness while trying to prioritize both physical and mental health. Today, I can honestly say that recovery has given me a life I never thought was possible. My lived experience led me to become a Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist and Behavioral Health Case Manager because I believe no one should have to face recovery alone and everyone should have access to care and resources. I know how powerful it is to have someone who truly understands. My approach is warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I believe recovery isn't about perfection. Recovery is about progress, self-compassion, and learning to build a life that feels meaningful. Whether you're navigating an eating disorder, anxiety, depression, or the challenges of living with a chronic illness, I'm here to listen, encourage, and help you recognize your own strengths. In my professional role, I support individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges through goal setting, coping skills, resource navigation, psychiatric rehabilitation, and recovery-focused conversations. I also love using creativity, art, and mindfulness as tools for healing because there is no one-size-fits-all approach to recovery. I'm honored to walk alongside others on their recovery journey and hope to offer the same understanding, encouragement, and belief in recovery that was once offered to me.

What I Hope to Share

I hope to create an environment where people feel safe, seen, and genuinely understood. Through my lived experience with eating disorder recovery, mental health, and chronic illness, I want to offer hope, encouragement, and practical tools that remind others they don't have to face recovery alone. As both a Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist and a Behavioral Health Case Manager, I bring a combination of lived experience and professional expertise to support individuals in navigating recovery, accessing resources, and building lives that feel meaningful. My goal is to foster authentic conversations, reduce stigma, and empower others to recognize their own resilience and strengths. I also hope to gain meaningful connections with others who are passionate about healing and peer support. I believe we all have something to learn from one another, and I'm excited to continue growing both personally and professionally by hearing different perspectives, sharing experiences, and being part of a community that believes recovery is possible for everyone.

What Brought Me to ShareWell

Recovery changed my life, and one of the biggest reasons was discovering the power of peer support and genuine human connection. Having people who understood my experiences helped me feel less alone and gave me hope when I struggled to find it on my own. That experience inspired me to become a Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist, and it ultimately brought me to ShareWell. I'm passionate about creating a safe, welcoming space where people can show up exactly as they are. I joined ShareWell because I believe healing happens in community. Whether someone is taking their first steps in recovery or has been on the journey for years, everyone deserves a place where they feel heard, understood, and supported. I'm grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside others, share hope through lived experience, and remind people that recovery is possible.
