My name is Keith. I was born in Chicago, Il and lived there until I was 30. I moved to Seattle WA and lived there for 39 year. I moved to Tucson, Az 4 years ago. I have 44 years of uninterrupted sobriety. I was in therapy for 8 years working through my family of origin issues. I am certified as Substance Use Disorder Professional for 38 years in the State of Washington. I have been certified as Peer Recovery Support Specialist for 3 years in the State Of Arizona. I have been ben divorced twice. My two marriages lasted a combined two and one half years. I come from a dysfunctional family. Alcoholism runs on both sides of my family. i have rekindled a relationship with i first met in 1974. She was the first woman I asked to marry. I ended the relationship as result of my alcoholism. I was early in my recovery and had of work to do. So I ended the relationship because i did not want to mess up her life. We have now been together six year. I work to improve myself each and every day. Today i am content with the person I have become. I have lost my father 13 years ago, my older brother 4 years ago, My brother a year younger 2 years ago, . my youngest brother has been diagnosed with uncurable metastatic cancer. So I have dealt with grief and loss. My other (4th) brother is also in recovery.
