Private video calls with trained peers who've walked a similar path. Support when you need it in a quieter space to share.
What Is A Peer Specialist?
A peer specialist is someone who has navigated their own mental health journey and completed formal training to support others. They're not therapists or clinicians. Their role is to listen, reflect, and be present with you.
Lived Experience
They've navigated their own mental health challenges: from anxiety and depression to trauma and recovery. This shared experience creates powerful, authentic connection.
Formal Training
Hundreds of hours of training in peer support, active listening, boundaries, and trauma-informed care. This isn't casual advice, it's skilled support.
Not Therapists
They don't diagnose, prescribe, or provide clinical treatment. They offer connection, reflection, and presence, not'fixing.
Boundaries and safety
Peer specialists are trained in confidentiality and they meet you as an equal, not an authority. They may share from their own experience when it's helpful.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this therapy?
No, our peer support specialists are not licensed therapists. They're trained peers who offer emotional support, reflection, and presence, not clinical treatment. Many people find peer support works well alongside therapy, or on its own.
What's the difference between peer support and therapy?
Peer support is provided by individuals with lived experience of mental health challenges, focusing on empathy, shared experiences, and mutual support. Therapy is conducted by licensed professionals who use clinical techniques to diagnose and treat mental health conditions.
Who can book a call?
Anyone 18 or older looking for peer support. You don't need a referral, diagnosis, or insurance. One-on-one calls may be a good fit if: • You want more privacy than a group setting offers • You've found groups helpful but want to go deeper • You want consistent, personal support from someone who gets it • You're not ready for therapy, or therapy isn't accessible right now • You want support without insurance, waitlists, or long-term commitments • You want to talk with someone who's been there, not just trained to listen
