Life After Religion: Support for Ex-Believers

About this Group

This is a peer support space for adults who have left religion or are actively deconstructing their faith. Many of us were shaped by belief systems that influenced our identity, relationships, morality, fear, shame, and sense of self. Leaving religion can bring relief, but it can also bring grief, confusion, anger, isolation, or loss of community. This group exists to process those experiences openly and honestly. 👉We explore topics such as: • Religious trauma and emotional conditioning • Rebuilding identity and personal values • Letting go of guilt, fear, and shame • Navigating family and community dynamics • Learning to trust your own thinking again • Creating meaning and purpose outside of religion ✅This space is specifically for people who no longer identify with religion or who are questioning and actively deconstructing. ❌It is not a space for RELIGIOUS DEBATES, FAITH DEFENSE, APOLOGETICS, or PROSELYTIZING. Our goal is emotional clarity, autonomy, and psychological healing after religion. Come as you are. No judgment. No pressure to believe or not believe. Just honest conversation and support.
