My name is Amanda, I’ll be 40 years old this year, and I’m a single mom of 1 very spunky toddler. I have had multiple traumatic events happen over the last 20 year, starting with a car accident that left me paralyzed in 2006. I’ve more recently been diagnosed with PTSD after an incident involving my ex and our child one year ago. Working through everything slowly, but surely.
What I Hope to Share
Here to find some solace, heal some of the lingering pain trauma has left behind and share whatever bits of wisdom I’ve picked up on my journey through life.
What Brought Me to ShareWell
I had to terminate a pregnancy in 2024 for medical reasons. It was a girl. She would have been born June of 2025, and she would be one years old this year. It has left a huge hole in my heart and soul. I’ve been finding some comfort in the groups for Tfmr on this site, but also started joining other groups to address some traumatic experiences I’ve had in 2024-2025 that led to a diagnosis of PTSD.
