I’m someone who’s in the process of healing from emotional betrayal, abandonment, and complex trauma. I recently came out of a long-term relationship with my ex-husband, who had strong covert narcissistic traits and a long history of addiction — one that deeply impacted not just him, but me and our son as well. The emotional abuse was subtle but deeply damaging — full of gaslighting, stonewalling, and blame-shifting that left me feeling invisible and unworthy. He left suddenly, and I’ve been navigating the aftermath while also carrying layers of older grief and loss. I’m a mom, and that role has grounded me through some of the hardest moments — but healing alone is heavy. I joined ShareWell because I’m looking for a space to just be — to feel seen, to connect with people who get it, and to rebuild a sense of trust in my own experience. I just want a little room to exhale what I’ve held inside for far too long.

What I Hope to Share

I hope to bring honesty, empathy, and lived experience. I’ve walked through some dark places and I know how important it is to feel safe, heard, and not alone in that. I may not have all the answers, but I can hold space and offer support for anyone trying to make sense of their own pain. What I hope to gain is connection — with people who get it. I’m carrying a lot right now, and I’m looking for a space where I don’t have to explain everything or hold it all in. I just want to feel less alone in the process of healing.

What Brought Me to ShareWell

I came to ShareWell because I’ve been carrying so much pain alone. After the end of a long relationship marked by emotional abuse and abandonment, I needed a space where I didn’t have to hold it all together — where I could just be and feel seen without judgment. I’m a mom who’s lived through deep grief and complex trauma, and I’ve always shown up strong for everyone else. Now, I’m learning to show up for me, too. I’m not here for perfect answers — just a place to breathe, to be human, and to feel less alone.
