(They/Them)
Hey, I’m Vinny (they/them), a queer, nonbinary fatty. I help people unlearn anti-fat bias through compassionate education and training. I know what it’s like to live in a body the world tells you is wrong. My work isn’t about convincing you to love yourself overnight or forcing positivity. It’s about dismantling the systems and beliefs that taught you to hate your body in the first place — and replacing them with understanding, agency, and self-respect.
Host Reviews
"Vinny is a delight...very insightful. We need more of this topic on Sharewell (at night time slot please because people work). And Vinny, I know you are already in the public eye somewhat....yet get out there!"
"It was helpful, hoping to catch the next one. Gonna try and get in more pictures. "
"Vinny does a great job. I guess I didn’t realize that I was feeling vulnerable so I couldn’t stay. But this group is so amazing for discussing and discovering lifelong relationships with our bodies and society. "
"The host, Vinny, addresses on a great topic on better re-parenting tools to communicate with one of my IFS --that little girl in me that is a smart-alec. That young girl that can challenges me as an adult now. Vinny gave an example how one can respond more effectively to that little girl/boy. "
"Vinny’s group brought up things I hadn’t considered in years. It made me realize there’s so much more to my depression than I realized. They are an eloquent and compassionate speaker. I feel like I’ve found a home!"

What I Hope to Share
I hope to contribute education that feels freeing rather than shaming, and a space where people can question what they’ve been taught about bodies without fear. My intention is to help participants reconnect with themselves through kindness, clarity, and truth. What I hope to gain is community. Body liberation work is collective by nature, and every shared insight strengthens the movement toward greater acceptance and justice.
What Brought Me to ShareWell
ShareWell creates space for conversations that challenge harmful norms while prioritizing care and connection. That aligns deeply with my work around body liberation, education, and mental wellbeing. Being here allows this work to reach people who are ready to unlearn and heal together.
