I am a health care worker just navigating life like the rest of us! I have struggled as far back as I can remember with anxiety and depression. I was diagnosed with ADHD right before going off to college, and in my early 20’s began to struggle with a mood disorder. While I am fortunate to have had a loving home growing up, there was a lot of anxiety at home that I had trouble accepting as a problem. I didn’t realize until my mid to late 20’s that the anxiety at home fueled a lot of the anxiety I struggle with today. There was a lot of learned behaviors that have affected me into adulthood. My anxiety has impacted several areas of my life. I have found help through individual therapy, medication, and life- style modifications. I live on the east coast of the US, currently in a small city with my amazing black cat, Bear! When not online enjoying the wonderful community of ShareWell, you can find me enjoying a hiking trails or mountains (new to the mountains!), the beach, traveling, listening to music, and playing video games. I am navigating relationships, and happy with how things are going with my partner. He has shown me emotional support in a relationship, validation, and affirmation, and has helped me see what is pivotal for a healthy relationship. I am also a progressive/ “liberal”Christian, but choose to limit sharing on topics such as politics and religion in sessions that I host.

What I Hope to Share
I am excited to learn coping mechanisms, find community and common ground, and share my experiences. I also enjoy hosting sessions, particularly geared towards ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Right now I have been hosting body doubling sessions (often times back to back) on my days off. I have learned through my short time on ShareWell that I feel passionate supporting peers who also struggle with ADHD and anxiety. I plan to eventually host support groups regarding ADHD and anxiety.
What Brought Me to ShareWell
It was suggested that I look into peer support groups for others with anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. I fell in love with ShareWell and have found out quickly how amazing this community is.
