I have become a Certified Peer Support Specialist because my life has been shaped by trauma, mental illness, and years of trying to cope without understanding or support. After childhood abuse, a difficult time in Air Force, church-related trauma, a bipolar II diagnosis, and eventual burnout, my recovery began through trauma‑informed care, medication, my service dog Violet, and my faith in God. These experiences have equipped me to offer others empathy, hope, and guidance on their own healing journeys.

I hope to contribute to others recovery journeys by sharing my own lessons in life. What I hope to gain is to learn lessons from other peers that instill further hope and strength for my recovery journey
What Brought Me to ShareWell
I'm passionate about helping others successfully navigate their recovery journey. This became real to me as I look back on my own journey. For many years I had to navigate my own trauma and mental illness on my own. About two ears ago to people came into my life that moved me from struggling and barely surviving to successful recovery. Through their help i finally realized that recovery is possible. Their help has inspired me to help others to reach successful recovery
