I come from a long line of unhealed generational trauma. Despite that, or maybe because of it, I’ve always longed to be the one in my family to break that cycle. From a young age, I’ve been on a path of seeking understanding and healing. I found yoga in college, dove into philosophy, psychology, and spirituality, and began trying to piece together a version of myself that wasn’t shaped by trauma. Over time, I’ve done deep personal work, including becoming a certified MindBody Centering yoga teacher and training in other modalities of self-inquiry and self-development, but I’ve realized self-actualization is a life-long process I know I can’t do it alone. I would like to continue healing the parts of me that still relapse in community with support. Some wounds are deeper than self-help books or meditation can reach.
