I'm a 51 year old Christian neurodivergent. I love music, art, animal, plants, and have struggled with depression all my life. I have several chronic pain disorders, as well. My faith is key to my identity. I rely heavily on Him to sustain me through the difficulties that I face while living with chronic illnesses. I remain inclusive of those of other religions, identities, and differences. We are all created equal in His image; His love covers all. I have a horrible propensity to procrastinate. Motivation is a constant struggle for me. It has been made all the worse since Mom's passing in December of 2025. This is not my first encounter with intense grief. As a freshman in college, I learned that my best friend had taken her life. I've dealt with a lot of guilt over the years since. Mom's final months have just added new layers to that guilt. In my head, I know the price was paid to remove all guilt, but getting that to my heart is another matter. These feelings are something I continue to work on in my own personal therapy. I pray that my experiences can be used to benefit others. I aim to be supportive of all views and struggles; to help in the best way that I can.

What I Hope to Share

I have a lifetime of experience with depression and ADHD that might be helpful to others. I've been evaluated for autism and am awaiting the results. I would like to learn more about how to understand that when getting diagnosed later in life.

What Brought Me to ShareWell

I saw it on Facebook and was drawn to the free group option. What keeps me here is the invaluable support of other members. The groups I've joined have all been wonderful and I look forward to being here for many years to come.
