Hi everyone, I’m Taylor. My journey to joining Sharewell started years ago while I was in college out of state. During that time, I found myself in a domestic violence relationship—both physical and emotional—that lasted for several years. The toll it took on my mental health led to failing out of school, and I felt completely lost. Eventually, I found the strength to leave and decided to return to school for psychology. I wanted to turn my experience into purpose—helping others who have gone through trauma and struggled with their mental health. Since then, I’ve worked in group homes, done crisis response work, and now I serve as a sexual assault counselor in my community. Even with all of that, I still face my own struggles with social anxiety, depression, and personal triggers.

What I Hope to Share
Through Sharewell, I hope to gain a space where I can feel genuinely supported while also offering that same support to others. I want to connect with people who understand the challenges of navigating trauma, mental health struggles, and healing. My goal is to continue growing in my own journey—learning new ways to cope with social anxiety, depression, and triggers—while building meaningful connections with others who are walking their own paths. In addition to my personal growth, I also hope to use Sharewell as a resource in my work as a sexual assault counselor. By learning from this community and gathering new perspectives, I can better support my clients and connect them with tools, ideas, and encouragement that may help them in their own healing journeys. Most importantly, I hope Sharewell can be a reminder that none of us have to go through life alone. By sharing experiences and encouragement, we can help each other feel less isolated and more empowered to face whatever life throws our way.
What Brought Me to ShareWell
I joined Sharewell—to build and be part of a community where I can feel supported while also supporting others. Life can be overwhelming, and I believe we can make it a little easier by navigating it together.
