Join a Free Support Group for Substance abuse

Grief includes both the emotional pain of loss and also the suffering of trying to get back on our feet. In our own personal voyages there is a lot of advice out there. Some of it softens the pain but some of it also really cuts. My goal has never been to "get over it" but rather to learn to "carry it." The sessions will start with a sign in naming ourself and our lost loved one, reviewing the simple ground rules for participating, sharing some of our story, sharing reactions so some of the advice that is offered to us, and closing wit sharing one small thing that our lost loved one could always do to leave us with a smile.
