The Writing Room

Writing projects have a way of getting pushed to "someday." Life gets busy, motivation comes and goes, and even projects we're excited about can sit untouched for weeks. I created this space because I've found that having one dedicated time each week to write alongside other people helps me keep moving forward. Even if this is the only writing I do all week, I'm still making progress. Every page, paragraph, or sentence is one step closer to a finished project. Whether you're working on a novel, memoir, poetry, a blog, a nonfiction book, personal essays, or another writing project, you're welcome here. We'll spend most of our time writing, then come back together for optional sharing, encouragement, and feedback. There's no pressure to read your work aloud or ask for feedback unless you'd like to. Bring your current writing project, settle in with your favorite writing tools (and maybe a cozy drink), and let's spend some dedicated time moving our projects forward together.
