Ash3
(they/them)
I am a down-to-earth, fun-loving, accepting-of-all-people human being who joined ShareWell two years ago because I had just learned my birth giver is a covert narcissist. I have been on a rollercoaster ride of healing in that two year span of time, and a HUGE amount of that is thanks to ShareWell and all of the incredible people I’ve met here along the way. I couldn’t be more grateful for this platform. I am nonbinary (bigender), and my birth giver tried controlling every part of me, including what my body looked like. Now that I’m no-contact (she’s blocked), I have recently come to love my body and have committed to wearing body-positive clothing. My body has been there for me and has done SO MUCH for me; the least I can do is love it back. Oh, and I’m neurospicyyy - join a session with me and we’ll allll be in for a surprise (I make MANY spontaneous, and terrible dad jokes because I think I’m hilarious, hahaha).

What I Hope to Share
I hope to gain a better understanding of myself and the world and people around me, now that I’m out of the constant and ever-present presence of abuse. (I’m learning I’m “me-er” than I’ve ever been, and learning new stuff about myself all the time.) I hope to encourage and inspire folks along the way. And I’m a pretty open book - I wear my heart on my sleeves, y’all! If you have a question, ask away!!
What Brought Me to ShareWell
3/22/23 was the day that changed everything when my birth giver and I got into the fight that would therefore change everything (the date is a palindrome! Who else is geeking out?!). I realized I needed help, so I joined ShareWell during Mental Health Awareness month in search of others I could connect with and begin my healing journey. (My ShareWelliversary is 5/4/23 - May The Fourth Be With You - Who just double geeked tf out?!?!)
