I’m John H Duke Jr, a country boy from Central Louisiana who’s been through the fire and walked out forged. I’m a Certified relationship and home leadership Coach and the founder of Altar'd Life Coaching. I help people improve their lives before the wreckage ever happens. My goal is to build leaders in men and women who live with wisdom, lead with strength, and walk in purpose. And if you are in the storm, I can help clear the confusion, the silence, the shame, and the steps that lead you back to yourself. I’m not here to preach. I’m here to help. My approach is straight, raw, and real. Built on truth, discipline, and faith. I believe scars are not something to hide but something to honor, because they show where the healing happened. I have lived in the wreckage. I have built wealth and lost it all. I have survived and recovered from a stroke that nearly took me out. I have beaten depression, healed from a narcissistic and toxic relationship, and the painful loss of my mother and brother within only three months. NO MORE NAILS: What held me doesn’t hold me.

What Brought Me to ShareWell
I was brought to ShareWell at my lowest. After a narcissistic relationship, I’d been stripped of everything that mattered. I’m not talking about possessions. I was stripped of my pride, dignity, peace, confidence, laughter, purpose, trust, and even my faith in humanity. I was empty, existing, but not living. I went to five counselors in two years. They helped in their own ways, but I realized I needed more than to talk about the past once a week. I needed a place where I could be real. Where I could speak honestly, hear others’ stories, and realize I wasn’t the only one fighting through the wreckage. A simple Google search led me to ShareWell. It became a place to rebuild what the enemy tried to destroy. A place to find strength, community, and hope again.
