Mon, Jan 05 | 6:00AM - 7:00AM UTC
This group is for early sunrise Stay-At-Home mothers who can share the chaotic joys, stresses, and experiences of motherhood and parenting. Mothers here can offer instant support to other mothers and share educational and informative information on subjects such as safe sleep, feeding, childcare, motherhood self-care, and playtime ideas and activities. This group will also foster a crucial sense of togetherness and welcome humor by providing a safe, trusting, and comfortable space for motbers to feel understood, heard, not alone, and strengthened throughout the 24/7-365 journey of raising children.
Key Objectives:
1. Create a safe space to share feelings about motherhood without judgment.
2. Foster connections and lasting friendships with other mothers.
3. Share knowledge and advice on parenting, baby care, and life adjustments.
4. Help mothers rediscover their identity beyond "mom".
5. Learn and practice new coping mechanisms and communication skills.
Goals:
1. Reduce feelings of isolation and normalize struggles like anxiety or identity changes.
2. Equip moms with strategies for sleep, feeding, returning to work, and managing new relationships.
3. Encourage the pursuit of passions, self-care, and the finding of harmony between individual needs and maternal roles.
4. Enhance mental well-being and build confidence in navigating motherhood's complexities.
5. Develop a supportive network where members feel understood and can celebrate milestones.
Get to Know Your Host:
"I’m Latisha, and I am the founder of Early Sunrise Stay-At-Home Mom Support Group. I have a passion for advocating for mothers and their journey through motherhood and the importance of mental health well-being. After my own experiences as a single, first/full-time stay-at-home mother/parent, I endured a very traumatic and unplanned C-section. Afterward, I lost so much blood that I had to be rushed to ICU immediately because of some much blood loss and was given almost 4-5 pints of blood. Due to those circumstances, I had to stay in the ICU overnight, and I didn't get to experience that bond you first get in the first 5 seconds your bundle of joy is welcomed into the world with my daughter. Healing after my C-section was very much a struggle, with unbearable pain that left me so exhausted and traumatized. Time passed, and I healed exceptionally quickly, embracing the overjoyed moments of beginning motherhood. My bright and unique little princess is now 2 years old and fully thriving as well as showing above-average growth and learning skills. You would never have thought that motherhood was my first time in all of 33 years of my entire life on this earth thus far. Becoming a mother has made me next-level confident, and I've never felt more empowered. I am determined to dedicate myself to the highest of my potential to ensure that every mother in my or your community feels valued, honored, supported, and, most of all, loved. My goal is to bridge the gap between 'surviving' and 'thriving' through honest conversations and therapeutic essential tools that will one day help you remember why it is that you were equipped to be an exceptional, brave, and strong mother. So please join me here, and let's stay connected and stand together forever in motherhood 💓🩷💕

Why Peer Support Matters for Representation
Feeling unseen or unheard in the spaces you inhabit can erode self-worth. Whether it’s in media, workplaces, or communities, a lack of representation can lead to feelings of invisibility, frustration, and exclusion. Peer support groups centered around representation create space for individuals to be fully seen and celebrated. These sessions uplift diverse voices, foster solidarity, and offer affirmation that your story matters — and deserves to be heard.
