Endometriosis, PMDD, PCOS Support & Validation

Thu, Apr 02 | 11:00AM - 12:00PM UTC
If you’re wondering about endometriosis, PMDD, PCOS, or related chronic endocrine conditions (as well as Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and ADHD), join me in this session to ask questions and get answers, hear about self-management and self-care strategies to reduce symptoms, learn about the mental and physical health conditions commonly experienced with these conditions, receive support and validation for your experiences, be seen and heard, and feel encouraged and empowered to thrive in life while living with these challenging health conditions. You are not alone! If you or a loved one are living with or suspect that you have one of these chronic conditions, you are welcome here! Also, you can follow me for health tips and endo stories: @dr.sarahcummins.phd Over 200 million people live with endometriosis, yet most go undiagnosed for 10+ years. People with endo typically face a lack of education and support from healthcare practitioners, leading to a critical need for self-management strategies to help reduce the negative impact of symptoms and improve their mental and physical health using non-traditional treatments. In these weekly sessions, I invite you to: ✨ Feel encouraged and empowered to thrive while living with chronic endocrine and health challenges 🌿 Ask questions about symptoms, getting diagnosed, and navigating healthcare 💛 Feel seen, heard, and supported in a safe and understanding space 📚 Learn self-care strategies rooted in research and personal experience 💪 Explore complementary therapies that help reduce symptoms and support healing 🧠 Understand the connection between chronic endocrine conditions, hormones, mental health, stress, and immune function About me: I’m an integrative health practitioner specializing in endometriosis and chronic endocrine conditions. In 2018, I was diagnosed with endo and began my journey of learning to thrive while living with a chronic inflammatory disease. While earning my PhD in psychology, I heavily researched endo (it’s the topic of my dissertation!) and how complementary self-care therapies can positively impact people’s mental, emotional, and physical health.

Why Peer Support Matters for Chronic Illness

Living with a chronic illness often means adapting to physical limitations, medical routines, and uncertainty about the future. But the emotional toll — isolation, frustration, and fear — is just as real. Peer support helps bridge that emotional gap. Sessions offer a place to talk candidly with others who live similar day-to-day experiences. From navigating flare-ups to managing relationships and care systems, the shared wisdom and support found in community can make living with chronic illness feel less overwhelming.
